Practice Building Time

Establish Your Practice Building Time Today!

Most of you know I spend a good part of my time consulting with private practice physical therapists, medical physicians, chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals.

But what you may not know is that we all in private practice, share many of the very same issues. That this is true, now more than ever. I remember talking to a neurologist in 1982 who said to me that managed-care will make strange bed fellows of all of us. And boy he was so right. No longer is there a business divide from one profession to the other.

As long as we are in private practice building, we are all in the same boat.

One of the major issues is how fast the world has actually changed. Now of course there’s nothing that you or I can do about this except be better business people!

The only way we are going to do this is by having dedicated practice building time.

I do believe the day is here were private practice owners do need to be spending at least one full day per week on dedicated marketing and administration of their private practices.

There are so many other areas that now need to be explored, and administered to. This of course should include good staffing procedures as well as an extended marketing PUSH, which is essential practice building

SO START BY CHANGING YOUR GAME PLAN.

WHEN YOU HAVE DEDICATED PRACTICE BUILDING TIME NO DISTURBANCES ARE ALLOWED.

NO PHONE CALLS, NO EMAIL, NO INTERRUPTIONS FROM STAFF, PETS OR FAMILY.

If you think this is harsh, try bankruptcy. Unfortunately, that too becomes a reality for too many private practice owners. Do not let this be you. You do have a choice.

And no it’s not easy! And it requires many hours of dedicated work but the results are so worth it.

So why not get started on establishing your private practice building time today?

I wish you the best along your journeys!
